About the film: House Arrest is a “body horror” film. It explores the idea of fear that is born and raised within ourselves. A horror that is self-inflicted. It questions who we are and whether we have any control over how our lives have turned out. It posits that our bodies hold unlimited unlived experiences. So what happens when we suppress them?
